Afrimat Mining services, based at D&B Coza (Jenkins Mine) based in the Northern Cape has a vacancy for a:
Supervisor
Minimum Qualification / Requirements
* Competent A Person
* Legal Liability
* Grade 12
* First Aid Certificate
* Basic Computer Skills
* Valid Drivers license
* National Rocke breaking certificate will be an advantage
* 2-3 Year of Experience being a supervisor and managing mining operations activities and Staff
* Demonstrate experience with large scale mining operations
* Good Verbal and written communication skills
* Good Knowledge of equipment capabilities and operating principals
* In-depth knowledge of Mine health and safety regulation
* Basic understanding of engineering principals and practices
* Able to work under pressure
* Flexibility to work outside of normal hours during emergencies and planned overtime
* Own Transport
Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)
* Supervise and manage the performance of mining operators, equipment and processes according to the operating plan and procedures.
* Supervise, coordinate and motivate the mining team in responsibilities
* Coordinate activities of third-party contractors to minimize disruption of mining processes
* Enforce health and safety legislation and contractual obligations are adhere to
* Ensure complete confidentiality of all information pertaining to the business of the company
* Produce shift reports at the end of every shift
* Delivering results and meeting Management expectation
* Show strong management and leadership abilities at al times
* Execute all agreed activities and/or carry ADHOC assignments as per site manager
* Manage resources with day-to-day planning
* Align with the Afrimat way
