Early Years Practitioner
As an Early Years Practitioner at a renowned nursery, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and support children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Under the guidance of level 3 qualified practitioners, you will prepare and lead activities that promote learning and development. This may include arts and crafts, music sessions, or outdoor games.
Maintaining a positive and welcoming environment is crucial for our children's happiness and growth. You will contribute to this by keeping the nursery clean and tidy, as well as creating a stimulating atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity.
Effective communication is key in this role. You will need to read, understand, and implement company policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery. This includes attending regular staff meetings, planning sessions, and undertaking training as required.
Our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is paramount. You will undergo an enhanced DBS check and adhere to all relevant protocols to ensure the protection of our vulnerable clients.
At our nursery, we value diversity and inclusion. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. Our goal is to select the best candidate based on merit, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage & civil partnership, race, sex, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
