Your new company is based in the Mount Isa, Cloncurry region and is a fully functioning underground mining and processing operation.
Your new role
We are seeking a site administrator DIDO from Mount Isa to work on an 4/3 roster 12-hour shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, which may include:
Providing administrative support for HR training and traineeship functions by carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly tasks on both an established and ad hoc basis. Assigned tasks will include routine, non-routine, and project-based activities. Specific duties may include:
* Handling correspondence within the Training Department and personal email inboxes
* Scanning and electronically filing training and traineeship documents, licenses, certificates, and assessments
* Entering training record data, auditing BIS calendar inputs, and using the site Learning Management System (LMS)
* Producing and distributing training reports and matrices from the LMS
* Monitoring, maintaining, and producing reports on competency and compliance requirements for employees and contractors
* Coordinating travel arrangements, purchasing, training inventory, and stock for training and traineeship functions
* Assisting training personnel with the onboarding of new starters with site systems and business applications
* Assisting with the development of online training content using the BIS system
* Establishing and maintaining departmental documents and resources as controlled documents
* Completing routine and ad hoc tasks to support and achieve the objectives of the Training Department
What you'll need to succeed
* Proficient in systems and software applications
* Valid manual driver's license
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to pass a medical examination
* Mining experience preferred but not required
