Role Description:
We are seeking an Allied Health Educator to join our team. As an Allied Health Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing education and training programs for Allied Health professionals and their support staff.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement education and training programs for Allied Health professionals and their support staff.
2. Maintain models of best practice in training and adult education.
3. Develop strategic and work plans to support the learning and continuing professional development of Allied Health staff.
4. Provide advice on the strategic use of Allied Health continuing professional development resources.
5. Contribute to Allied Health workforce sustainability by building capacity to provide high-quality undergraduate education, new graduate programs, and continuing professional development across the district.
6. Facilitate access to clinical placement supervision and allied health clinical supervision training.
7. Support Allied Health Professional supervisors to supervise students on clinical placements.
8. Support Allied Health Professionals to extend their practice when working with AHAs.
9. Develop and sustain collaborative working partnerships with teaching & training and research organisations.
10. Evaluate learning and development programs and report on key performance areas.
Selection Criteria:
* Qualifications in Allied Health or related field
* Experience in education and training
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
