The Company Tutt Bryant Group Limited is a multi-Divisional organisation operating in Equipment Distribution, General Equipment Hire, Crane Hire and Specialist Lift. This group level role will focus on providing solutions to meet the growing development requirements of the business. The Role This is a permanent role with WFH flexibility. You will enjoy a varied role with the opportunity to utilise your skills and experience of AX and D365 FinOps. Reporting to the Business Applications Manager as part of a professional team you will work with other IT team members, Project Manager, Business Analyst, business leaders, consultants, and end users in coordinating and developing solutions within the Dynamics AX and D365 FinOps environment from concept through to implementation and support. The role is required to support 2 existing ERP’s (both AX and D365) as well as development efforts throughout the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle [SDLC]. This is a user-facing role, requiring the successful candidate to build strong relationships with the business Subject Matter Experts. Your duties will include: Work with key stakeholders to deliver key business objectives. Proactively coordinate and take responsibility for day-to-day support activities within the AX / D365 F&O applications. Use a technical and developer focus to eliciting requirements and user stories from the business. Being responsible for the implementation of solutions for Dynamics AX / D365 F&O applications across a variety of project-based scenarios. Identify system gaps and where required, prepare functional and solution design documentation. Develop/Program customised solutions to meet business requirements addressing identified system gaps and agreed process improvements. Implement configuration changes as necessary to the AX / D365 F&O applications environment. Participate in, manage and/or oversee projects to ensure that project deadlines are met and that results are in line with expectations. Facilitate and /or conduct training where required. Prepare and assist with system and user acceptance test plans, scripts, and testing. Proactively review and analyse business processes and re-engineer as necessary to improve efficiency, effectiveness and/or usability using proper analysis techniques and process models. Key Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience with D365 Finance & Operations. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Dynamics AX (2012 R3 preferably). Strong skills in X, C#.net and. Strong exposure and experience with code upgrade process. Strong SQL skills with some exposure to Microsoft Power Platform including SSRS & Power BI. Have a sound understanding and / or experience in accounting functions. Certification in Dynamics and D365 Development. Any exposure to IDMS Annata is highly desirable. Must have Project and BAU experience. Exposure with other ERP or CRM systems and Data Migration is desirable. Skills and attributes: Be a self-starter with a hands-on approach. Have a sound understanding and / or experience in accounting functions. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels across the business. Possess a strong team spirit and professional work ethic. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate and deliver plans and requirements to users. Ability to evaluate and challenge functional and technical requirements and design. Strong ability with projects and seeing them through.
