Equity Research Analyst, Resources - Macquarie Capital
Join our Equities Research team as part of Macquarie Capital, who provide highly informative commentary to assist institutional clients with their investment decisions. You will build partnerships, interact with key industry participants, and research, analyse and provide written and oral commentary on the sector.
What role will you play?
As a Resources Analyst, you will model company financials (earnings, cashflows, individual project and transaction analysis) as well as conduct commodity/macro analysis. The role is grounded in technical and financial analysis, report writing, and developing relationships with industry and institutional investors. You will present key ideas to institutional investors and attend corporate access and conference events, building access to senior individuals in listed entities and the Australian Funds Management market.
What You Offer
* 5+ years direct experience in equities analysis, strategy, consulting or industry
* Strong technical capabilities, both in the Resources sector and financial modelling
* Research and report writing skills
* Ability to build cross-industry relationships with clients
* Tertiary qualifications in a technical field (Geology, Engineering, Sciences etc)
* CA, CFA or MBA qualifications will be well regarded.
