Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and developing the company's sustainability strategy.
About the Role:
* Champion and stay up-to-date with all environmental compliance and business strategies
* Ensure regulatory requirements are met
* Champion internal and external communication related to the company's sustainability plan
* Measure ROI for actions delivering cost savings to the business
* Liaise with key external stakeholders regarding sustainability requirements and projects
* Assist in external audits regarding sustainability and environment
* Increase and maintain internal awareness of the overall sustainability strategy
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have:
* Credentials and experience working within the environmental field, ideally within an FMCG organisation for a minimum of 3 years
* Knowledge of sustainability and environmental practices, reporting frameworks, and relevant legislation
* High-level project management and organisational skills
* Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
* Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
* Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
