As the Business Development Manager you will be driving growth by identifying, developing and converting specifications, projects, and customer opportunities into commercial wins, while building strong customer relationships, ensuring compliance, and collaborating across functions to achieve regional sales, profit, and market leadership objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across assigned segments/sub‐segments, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
* Secure specification positions and project involvement to achieve sales and margin targets, with an emphasis on leveraging leadership technologies in targeted strategic areas.
* Initiate, oversee and support product trials, introductions, and cross-selling opportunities to drive product adoption in strategic sub-segments
* Generate specifications (CPQ) for all key CRM pipeline/customer opportunities to support conversion into sales
* Initiate, develop and retain trusted relationships with strategic customers architects, specifiers, asset owners, engineers, consultants and contractors to expand market presence across assigned geography.
* Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Have You Got What We're Looking For?
* Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred or similar experience
* Proven track record in business development or sales within the energy, infrastructure or related industrial markets.
* Experience in specification selling, project conversion, and CRM pipeline management.
* Thorough understanding of technical sales processes, including technical specification development
* Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage complex stakeholder networks
