Overview
We're currently partnering with a well-established, highly respected insurance litigation firm in Sydney that is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to strengthen its defendant practice. This opportunity will particularly suit an outstanding CTP, public liability or defendant personal injury lawyer who enjoys managing their own matters and working closely with insurer clients.
Responsibilities
* Running a diverse caseload of defendant personal injury matters
* Acting for insurers and insureds across liability, institutional/employer and related claims
* Managing files end-to-end, contributing to strategy and mentoring junior lawyers
* Exposure to more complex insurance litigation, including professional indemnity matters for those looking to broaden their practice
About you
* Senior Associate level (or a high-performing mid-level ready for the next step)
* Strong background in CTP, public liability or defendant personal injury
* Confident acting for insurers / defendants (not plaintiff work)
* Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable running matters autonomously
* Curious to expand into broader insurance litigation and PI work
