Housekeeper – Iron Creek Bay Estate
About the Role: Housekeepers at Iron Creek Bay Estate play a vital role in creating calm, welcoming spaces for our guests.
This is a hands-on position focused on cleanliness, presentation, and care — ensuring accommodation and shared areas reflect the quality and character of the estate.
Our work is seasonal and varied, with busy periods during peak tourism and harvest times.
We're looking for people who enjoy physical work, take pride in detail, and value working as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard.
Change linen, make beds, and restock amenities.
Follow daily cleaning schedules and turnaround timelines.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly.
Handle cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly.
Support presentation of the lodge and shared guest spaces.
Work collaboratively with Front Office and Operations teams to meet guest needs.
Working Hours
Shifts are typically scheduled between 8:00am and 4:00pm, depending on occupancy and bookings
Workdays may include weekends and public holidays, especially during peak seasons
Hours may vary week to week based on business needs
Employment may be casual or part-time, in line with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award
What We're Looking For
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks
A positive, respectful attitude and willingness to help the team
Availability during busy periods is highly valued
