About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join the Child, Adolescent Mental Health Service CONNECT/CAVUCS team as a Senior Clinician to provide clinical expertise for infants, children, adolescents, women and their families with mental health issues.
Key duties of the role Provide, contribute and deliver proficient Mental Health clinical care to clients and their families Demonstrate a commitment to consumer participation and Team leadership Ensure services are delivered in a culturally responsive manner Provide clinical leadership and knowledge to multidisciplinary staff Skills and Experience Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Must hold an approved post graduate mental health nursing (minimum Graduate Diploma of Mental Health Nursing qualification).
OR Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and to be endorsed in clinical practice.
Must hold an approved supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary).
OR Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
OR Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
