Facilities and Finance Professional
This is a permanent full-time position commencing with Cape Naturaliste College. The role involves coordinating daily operations relating to school grounds and facilities, as well as financial aspects of the school.
The successful applicant will provide support to the Manager Corporate Services in overseeing the supervision of cleaning and gardening services, including management of staff and contractors. They will also assist in coordinating community use of college grounds and amenities, scheduling, and completing required documentation.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the Manager Corporate Services in coordinating daily operations relating to school grounds and facilities, as well as financial aspects of the school.
* Oversee the supervision of cleaning and gardening services, including management of staff and contractors.
* Coordinate community use of college grounds and amenities, scheduling, and completing required documentation.
* Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of school buildings, grounds, and facilities.
* Investigate funding opportunities for school projects and initiatives.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Sound Financial Management Skills: Ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
* Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work within a team environment and develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Computer Skills: Ability to create, operate, extract reports, and manipulate databases, spreadsheets, and systems.
* Team Management and Supervisory Skills: Ability to motivate and develop staff.
