As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and professional Business Development Manager to join our team.
About the Role
This is a full-time, hybrid role based at our Landsborough office on the Sunshine Coast, with travel across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane region.
The position is focused on identifying new opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and driving growth through consultative sales. You'll work independently while being supported by a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across target markets
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships through a consultative approach
• Conduct market research and attend industry events to identify emerging opportunities
• Present tailored solutions to clients, highlighting the benefits of Virtual Security Guard's services
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and reports with professionalism and clarity
• Manage inbound leads and ensure efficient sales follow-up
• Update CRM records and maintain accurate sales activity reporting
About You
We're looking for a results-driven professional who can combine strategic thinking with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Your skills and experience:
• Demonstrated experience in Sales and Business Development with a stable employment history (ideally 5 years+)
• Experience within the Security, Construction or related fields will be HIGHLY REGARDED
• Proven track record initiating, developing and maintaining long term client relationships to generate sales
• Ability to provide solutions for clients
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities to ensure efficient communication
• Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable
• Enthusiasm, commitment and loyalty
• Positive, friendly and outcome focused
• Proficiency with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
• MUST HAVE a current drivers licence with a clean record
