Principal Research Partnerships Coordinator (Full‐time, fixed‐term through 31/12/2027). Base salary will be in the range $104,616.68 – $113,920.12 + 17% super (HEW Level 7). Visa sponsorship is not available. Based at the StLucia Campus and Herston – Brisbane.
About This Opportunity
Play a pivotal role in advancing the research development and partnership management activities of the Herston Biofabrication Institute (HBI), a joint initiative between the University of Queensland and Metro North Health. Work closely with the Research Director to translate visionary research into real‐world impact by facilitating collaborations between researchers, clinicians, industry and government partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic advice to researchers and clinicians on current and emerging research funding opportunities, including eligibility, compliance and submission processes.
* Support the development of high‐quality grant and fellowship applications through expert coordination, review and writing support.
* Manage and coordinate research contracts and partnership agreements from negotiation through to execution.
* Prepare reports, briefing papers, metrics and meeting materials to support informed decision‐making and research performance tracking.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education or training.
* Demonstrated experience in research development, research partnerships, or project coordination within a higher education or health research context.
* Knowledge of the Australian research funding landscape, including major funding bodies and grant processes.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling narratives.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain timelines and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience coordinating meetings, consultations and collaborative activities.
* A collaborative, inclusive mindset, with the capacity to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
