Job Description:
The Principal Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading and guiding our Engineering Standards & Systems Team to ensure safety and compliance with internal and external requirements. The team member will have a pivotal role in shaping and implementing asset-wide engineering standards, fostering innovation and best practices within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of new and revised engineering standards to address emerging risks, operational challenges and regulatory compliance
* Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and manage project scope, timelines and resource allocation
* Ensure all developed engineering standards meet asset-wide requirements, aligning them with relevant industry standards and best practices
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with significant experience in engineering standardization
* Proven track record of developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation
* Strong understanding of engineering principles, regulatory requirements and industry standards
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
