Full-Time Vet Nurse position | Across Greencross Wilsonton and Greencross Eastwood House
We are looking forward to welcoming an Experienced Vet Nurse who is passionate, committed, and eager to utilise their knowledge and skills across these two supportive teams!
Greencross Wilsonton is a brand-new state of the art clinic, located in the revamped Wilsonton shopping centre with a co-location space next to a Petbarn store, along with the Pet Academy and Professional Grooming Service. Greencross Eastwood House is a heritage-listed building, fully equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, 2 consult rooms, a surgery and prep room. We are a small, close-knit team of 2 Vets and 3 Vet Nurses offering the best standards of care to our local and loyal client base of the Toowoomba region.
We're a friendly, relaxed, approachable team; we have a great sense of humour and genuinely enjoy working together.
About Your New Job
* Full-time role undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
* Performing minor procedures when required
* Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
* Providing great customer service in person and over the phone, including booking appointments and giving advice
What You'll Bring
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 3+ years clinical nursing experience
* Applicants must be confident with surgery
* An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
* Strong communication skills
* A calm and friendly presence with a team player attitude
* Experience with RXworks advantageous
