About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and client-focused Customer Service & Interior Design Consultant to join the team. This is a unique opportunity that blends interior design, client experience, and early-stage project consultation.
You will be the first point of contact for clients, guiding them through the initial stages of their renovation or building journey. Working closely within the in-house showroom, you will support clients with selections, finishes, and materials—helping turn ideas into clear, cohesive design outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong eye for design, and thrives on making complex decisions feel simple and exciting for clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming enquiries via phone, email, and web platforms
* Guide clients through the early stages of their renovation or build journey
* Build strong relationships and create a positive first impression
* Coordinate discovery calls, site visits, and client meetings
* Work with clients in the showroom to select finishes, fixtures, and materials
* Assist in creating cohesive design outcomes aligned with budgets
* Coordinate ordering of selected items and liaise with suppliers
* Support the transition from concept through to construction
* Work closely with sales, design, and construction teams
* Maintain accurate records within CRM and project systems
* Ensure smooth project handovers with clear documentation
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in interior design, residential building, or a client-facing role
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in customer service
* Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for helping clients
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
* Experience with selections, finishes, or residential design (highly desirable)
* Familiarity with CRM systems or Buildertrend (advantageous)
* Experience with Revit or AutoCAD (preferred but not essential)
