LITTLE WARRIOR & SONS PTY LTD The role involves preparing and cooking quality meals, maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards, assisting with menu development, and working closely with the team to deliver efficient service. Benefits Salary plus Super Task & responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of kitchen duties, including but not limited to: Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with menu standards Assist with menu development, specials, and seasonal dishes Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management Minimise food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods Assist with kitchen prep, including sauces, garnishes, and mise en place Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Support a positive, organised, and efficient kitchen environment Qualification & experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher) Minimum 2 years’ experience in established hospitality venues with a proven track record of strong performance Passion for food with knowledge across a variety of cuisines and modern cooking techniques Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team Excellent communication and organisational skills with sound decision-making ability Ability to prioritise tasks and perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment About Company Established in 1870, The Robin Hood Inn is one of Victoria’s most iconic country hotels, originally operating as a Cobb & Co stop for travellers.
