The Role
As the Surface Water Lead, you'll be inheriting a local team and working with the broader leadership team to help it scale to it's full potential.
Day to day you'll be leading a variety of hydrology projects, managing technical resources and working closely with clients.
The project breadth is broad, you'll find yourself working on broad acre greenfield subdivisions, complex metro infrastructure projects and even supporting renewable developers with BESS and solar farm designs.
About You
You are a career-driven engineer or environmental scientist who thrives on solving the "puzzle" of urban water.
* Experience: 10+ years in surface water engineering or environmental hydrology, ideally within a private consultancy.
* Local Expertise: A deep understanding of the Victorian Planning Provisions, Melbourne Water standards
* Leadership: Proven experience in managing a team and a desire to be a "visible leader" within a growing office.
* Communication: Ability to present complex technical water strategies to developers and government stakeholders with clarity and influence.
