Based at UNE's new Tamworth campus, the Associate Lecturer in Exercise and Sports Science will lead outreach through Health and Movement Science initiatives in local schools, strengthening regional engagement and movement education. The role also involves delivering high-quality learning in Exercise and Sports Science and Nutrition, supporting student development, expanding Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities, and ensuring alignment with ESSA accreditation standards.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Exercise and Sports Science or Clinical Exercise Physiology and be eligible for, or hold, ESSA accreditation. You will bring expertise in biomechanics, exercise prescription, movement science, and nutrition, with experience in tertiary teaching or WIL. Strong communication skills and a student-focused approach are essential.
