Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Maintaining and repairing processing equipment is crucial for ensuring continuous production, safety and efficiency. As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in this process.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps and other fixed plant equipment.
* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, conduct fault diagnosis and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
You will work independently and be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities. Your ability to interpret mechanical drawings and follow procedures will also be essential.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Trade experience in mechanical fitting with a focus on preventative and corrective maintenance.
* Exposure to fixed plant equipment, shutdowns and fault diagnosis.
* Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and follow established procedures.
* Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
* A background in gold or base-metal processing plants would be beneficial but not necessary.
