The Role Our client is seeking a natural leader who presents with a minimum of 5 years' experience ideally from sizeable law firm/in-house legal environment, and who has mentored and led successful teams.
You will have experience working with wills, estate planning, probates and understand power of attorney and legal guardianship.
Key Accountabilities & Technical skills Solid and proven understanding of Wills, Probate and Estate Planning 5+ years PQE experience Knowledge or experience with PEXA and Supreme Court RedCrest Probate system Knowledge or experience in property transmissions across multiple jurisdictions Experience with conveyancing and drafting bespoke wills (including testamentary trusts) is highly desirable Liaising with clients and lodging with consistent client follow up Experience managing, mentoring and developing a team About you Strategically minded and a natural leader who thrives working in an innovative environment Exceptional communication skills on both a verbal and written level where client contact is always of the highest standard Relevant Australian qualifications are essential along with PEXA experience Experience from a large firm or in-house legal preferred Experience managing a team – this role will see you leading, supporting and developing a team of 4 Benefits Competitive salary based on experience This role will offer significant long term growth opportunities Scope to shape the legal function and drive process improvement Reasonable working hours in a genuinely supportive environment Based in Caulfield with onsite parking/ close to public transport– work close to home
