Why this role matters
As the Christmas Warehouse Team Leader you will coordinate the Christmas Warehouse on behalf of the Children & Families Stream. Be responsible for the collection of donated gifts, food products, volunteer rostering and management and the distribution of donated gifts through internal TSA programs as well as external organisations.
This is a fixed-term position, 22.8 hours a week based in Derwent Park, TAS.
The role you could play
- Provide support to the Doorways State Manager
- Manage volunteer labour safely and effectively
- Demonstrate a collaborative approach to service delivery and improvement within the team
- Maintain thorough record of donated stock
- Circulate stock list to program areas
- Doorways and other program sites receive regular deliveries of donated
What you will bring
- Preferred warehouse experience
- Management of staff / volunteers
- Report writing
- Excellent organisation skills
- A current and valid Working with Vulnerable People Check (Child Related Activity)
- A current Tasmanian Drivers licence
- A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
