Ventia's Infrastructure Services (IS) sector is building a high performing, centralised supply chain function. As our
Sector Supply Chain Manager
, you will lead the strategic design, planning, execution and oversight of supply chain operations across Australia and New Zealand – spanning warehousing, logistics, inventory management and purchasing support. Your purpose is to align supply with demand, meet quality cost and delivery targets and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Ideally you will be in Brisbane or Toowoomba (other locations nationally considered). You must be able to travel fortnightly to connect with and mentor your team.

About The Role
This is a transformative leadership role where you will standardise ways of working across multiple supply teams and sites, creating a consistent "Ventia way" for processes, systems and user experience. Expect meaningful impact from day one, plus national travel (including occasional NZ) to connect with teams and embed best practice.
* Warehousing & Logistics - uplift of warehouse operations introducing best practice systems and processes, maximising facility utilisation (including cross sector sharing), and ensuring timely, compliant setup for new contract mobilisations
* Procurement & Supplier Management - build a centralised procurement support network; develop strategic purchasing culture to challenge and reduce costs. Manage supplier relationships for reliability, quality and rapid issue resolution
* Standardisation & Continuous Improvement - run campaigns to harmonise disparate supply chain teams into one high performing function and implementing common processes
* Collaboration - partner with Project Managers, Commercial & Finance, and Contract Delivery teams to align supply operations with business needs and to leverage group strategies and policies
* Leadership - mentor supply teams and lift capability in stakeholder engagement. Educate teams in negotiations, quality control and cost improvements and drive compliance with Ventia's risk, quality, safety and environmental systems and statutory obligations
Required Skills And Experience
You will have sound experience in supply chain / procurement leadership in large scale procurement and logistics operations and a solid record of cost savings and operational efficiencies. You will also be familiar with ERP / inventory platforms.
* Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business (preferred)
* Certs in CIPS, APICS, CSCP (desirable)
* Skills in strategic sourcing, supplier management, warehousing/logistics, asset control, process improvement, cost optimisation, stakeholder engagement and negotiations
* Experienced in Microsoft Suite, reviewing Power BI reports and SAP across inventory, warehousing, supply chain modules are highly valued
* Proven leadership with the ability to travel fortnightly to build culture and embed standardised practices with your team
