We are seeking to appoint a motivated and inspiring Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic Mathematics teaching team. Commencing in Term 2, 2026, the position is offered as full-time, ongoing.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach Mathematics across Years 7–12, demonstrating a strong understanding of evidence-based teaching practices, including those encompassed by the Science of Learning, and a commitment to fostering deep conceptual understanding and mathematical confidence in students. A second method in Physical education is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate understanding of best practice pedagogy which embraces the principles of personalised learning and encourages high performance outcomes.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the consistent implementation of effective, evidence-informed teaching practices.
Work collaboratively with class teachers to develop programs and initiatives that support the academic growth of each student and create opportunities for quality learning experiences.
Use formative and summative assessment data to inform planning and differentiate learning.
Contribute to the ongoing review and development of curriculum, assessment, and feedback practices.
Engage actively in professional learning to enhance teaching effectiveness and support school-wide initiatives.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress.
Demonstrate strong organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
