About the role:
CSR is seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our high-performing team in Wetherill Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with key stakeholders across the business, providing critical financial insights and driving continuous improvement in performance and reporting.
As a trusted advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making, managing financial controls, and delivering accurate, timely reporting across Sales, Logistics, GTCs, and Overheads.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with business leaders to provide strategic decision support.
* Deliver timely, actionable insights through monthly performance reporting.
* Identify performance gaps and support improvement initiatives.
* Review rebate claims and balances for accuracy and appropriateness.
* Manage month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Monitor Capital WIP, set up IOs, and perform asset capitalisations.
* Support budgeting and forecasting with rigorous processes and stakeholder engagement.
* Ensure strong financial governance and compliance with CSR policies and accounting standards.
* Prepare capital expenditure requests and working capital analysis.
* Drive process simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
* CA or CPA qualified (or working towards).
* 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP and Power BI experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Experience in manufacturing, building, or construction industries (preferred).
* Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improvement.
