ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading contractor's team to support the bidding and early stages of a major wastewater treatment project in Auckland.
Main Duties
* Support the bid and competitive ECI phase, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
* Contribute to methodology development, staging, and constructability planning within a live operational environment
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines
* Assist in developing programme, procurement, and delivery strategies
* Identify project risks and contribute to mitigation strategies during the bid phase
* Engage with design partners and consultants to ensure alignment on technical solutions
* Provide input into cost planning, sequencing, and buildability reviews
* Support client engagement throughout the ECI process
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within water or wastewater infrastructure projects
* Strong exposure to brownfield environments and complex, live operational sites
* Background in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering (M&E experience highly regarded)
* Experience in ECI, D&C, or collaborative delivery models
* Strong understanding of constructability, staging, and risk management
* Ability to work within a technically complex and fast-paced bid environment
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage key stakeholders and clients
