About the Role
As a school psychologist, you will provide counseling and psychological services to students, individually and in groups. You will engage with the procedures of the Professional Practice Framework for the NSW School Counselling Service and work collaboratively with learning and support teams, parents, and carers.
Main Responsibilities
* Provides counseling and psychological services to students
* Engages with the procedures of the Professional Practice Framework
* Works collaboratively with learning and support teams, parents, and carers
* Administers cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments of students
* Reports on the results of assessments and interventions
Requirements
* General or Provisional Psychology Registration with active internship with the Psychology Board of Australia
* Valid and current Working with Children Check clearance
* Current and valid driver's license and ability and willingness to travel between work sites
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency
