About the Role:
* We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as an Assistant Director.
The Assistant Director will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations of the service, including staff management, program implementation, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership Support: Assist the Centre Director in overseeing daily operations and making strategic decisions.
* Team Development: Mentor and support educators, promoting professional growth and development through regular coaching sessions and performance reviews.
* Program Delivery: Contribute to educational programs that meet children's developmental needs and interests by analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.
* Family Engagement: Foster positive relationships with families by communicating effectively and regularly to support their involvement in their child's learning journey.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the centre meets or exceeds industry standards and regulatory requirements by conducting regular audits and implementing necessary changes.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (Diploma) and a current Working with Children Check.
* Proven experience in a childcare setting, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and engage effectively with families.
