Join a major organisation driving a large-scale data modernisation program. This project focusses on re-platforming analytics and migrating data from legacy systems to a modern Microsoft Fabric environment. You'll be part of a high-performing team delivering critical outcomes for business and research stakeholders.
Your new role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering and translating requirements for complex data and analytics initiatives. Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams, you'll ensure successful delivery of project milestones and support the transition to BAU.
* Eliciting and documenting data requirements from diverse stakeholders
* Translating business needs into actionable technical specifications and user stories
* Coordinating with internal DevOps teams and external vendors
* Managing Jira stories and supporting risk and issue resolution
* Assisting with change management and stakeholder communications
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in Business Analysis within data, BI, or analytics projects
* Ability to act as Product Owner and manage backlog in Jira
* Strong understanding of data concepts: ingestion, modelling, quality, and pipelines
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination skills
* Familiarity with Jira and Confluence (essential); SAS and Microsoft Fabric (advantageous)
