About Us
Rox Resources Limited (ASX: RXL) is transitioning from explorer to producer, with our 100%-owned high-grade Youanmi Gold Project advancing rapidly following completion of our Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) and successful equity funding.
With the first underground portal fired in late 2025, we are scaling up site infrastructure and early works in preparation for drilling early this year and production ore in late 2026, with first gold to be poured in mid‑2027. This is an opportunity to join a growing team at a pivotal stage of project development and contribute meaningfully to a future high-potential gold operation.
About the role
We are seeking a Mine Geologist – Underground to join our site-based team working a continuous day FIFO roster to the Youanmi project, located approximately 480 kilometres northeast of Perth, Western Australia.
Reporting to and mentored by the Mine Geology Superintendent, you will support daily underground production and drilling activities while working closely with mining Technical Services teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality geological outcomes as the operation transitions to full-scale mining.
This role suits a motivated underground geologist looking to broaden their exposure across development, grade control, data management, and team mentoring within a collaborative and progressive environment.
What you'll do
* Track, reconcile, and report daily ore movements and grade control activities to support accurate production outcomes.
* Undertake underground geological mapping and sampling to inform grade control and mine development.
* Complete core logging, geological data management, and QA/QC to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Design, monitor, and optimise grade control and resource definition drilling programs.
* Continuously refine geological and structural interpretations to support reliable resource estimation and mine planning.
* Liaise closely with Technical Services teams and external contractors to ensure alignment with operational objectives.
* Support the training and development of junior geologists, contributing to team capability and engagement.
* Compile and deliver geology, production, and safety reports accurately and within required timeframes.
* Actively participate in safety observations, hazard identification, and reporting, promoting a strong safety culture.
