The Role
Responsibilities
The Active and Healthy Communities unit is seeking a Community Projects Liaison Officer to join their supportive and collaborative team. In this role you will develop and maintain strategic relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders focussing on priority infrastructure needs and investment that support active and healthy outcomes for the community. Responsibilities include:
Supporting the development and management of external funding opportunitiesWorking in partnership with a variety of internal design, delivery and service teams to project manage and report on a range of projectsAssisting in the development of policy and strategic advice on complex and political issues relating to infrastructure development, need and useEnsuring issues of diversity, disadvantage, access and equity are considered and responded to in all projects.

Ironbark Gully TrailBackhaus Oval service reinstatementGolden Square Pavilion RedevelopmentLow Line TrailTruscott Reserve Pavilion RedevelopmentMalone Park Master Plan ImplementationQEO Northwest Corner Redevelopment
About You
As the successful candidate you will have:
The ability to develop strategic relationships and networks, and translate these into organisational and community outcomesExperience in preparing and presenting high quality written and verbal materialsExperience in successfully engaging with a diverse range of stakeholdersDemonstrated skills and experience in project management.
If you have knowledge and skills in sports and recreation, project management, community development or similar, we welcome your application.
