We're looking for Platform & Quality Engineers at all levels who want to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, combining skills in software development, software testing, AI/ML, and DevOps to deliver impactful, scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer at auticon, you'll be part of a high-performing, inclusive team that leverages cutting-edge technologies to solve complex challenges. You'll:
* Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, data specialists, and product owners to design, build, and improve platform capabilities.
* Develop and enhance services for data ingestion, processing, and AI-powered analysis.
* Work with the squad to design automated testing strategies and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for smooth releases.
* Integrate AI/ML models into live environments with reliability and scalability in mind.
* Apply DevOps practices to improve monitoring, security, and operational efficiency.
* Share knowledge within the squad and contribute to collective problem-solving.
* Exposure to test management practices
What You Bring
We're looking for engineers who are passionate about data, driven and excited to work in inclusive teams. You'll ideally have:
* Must have an autism, ADHD, dyslexia or other neurodiverse diagnosis
* 5–7 years' experience in Data Engineering
* AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate or equivalent experience
* Expertise in AWS data platforms: Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, EMR
* Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, SerenityBDD etc.).
* Write and maintain automated API test scripts using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Bruno or REST Assured.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
* Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, BlazeMeter, k6, LoadRunner etc.)
* Understanding of platform engineering concepts like containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred).
* Knowledge of observability tools for monitoring and logging (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
* Databases - SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDB
* Developing backend applications using .NET Core, Rest API design patterns
* Frontend frameworks - Angular
* Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
Bonus Skills
* Experience with Snowflake or Apache Iceberg
* Understanding of data mesh principles and data product thinking
