This opportunity is exclusively open to recent graduates of Charles Darwin University (CDU). Applicants must have completed a relevant degree at CDU within the last 12 months.

About the CDU/PWC Graduate Program

The Charles Darwin University (CDU) / Power and Water (PWC) Graduate Finance/Economics position forms part of a two-year cohort-based program designed to develop and retain high-quality graduates in the Northern Territory.

The program provides hands-on experience and structured training across energy, water and infrastructure systems, helping graduates build capability within the Northern Territory's essential infrastructure and utilities sector.

About the Position

The purpose of this role is to provide recent finance and economics graduates with practical and supervised experience across business finance, corporate finance, regulatory and commercial functions that support the operation of power and water systems.

Graduates will contribute to financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, regulatory submissions and continuous improvement initiatives within PWC while developing capability in financial and economic analysis within a utilities and infrastructure environment.

Appointment is for a fixed-term period aligned to the CDU–PWC Graduate Program (up to 24 months). Availability to work flexible hours, including participation in operational or project activities aligned with Power and Water Corporation (PWC) requirements.

About You

To be successful, you will require:

* Completion of a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree from Charles Darwin University within the last 12 months in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Commerce, or a closely related discipline
* Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills appropriate to a graduate finance or economics role
* Ability to interpret financial, economic, or operational data, and contribute to analysis, reports, or documentation under supervision.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
* Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to new work environments.
* Willingness to participate in rotations, professional development activities and workplace learning as part of a structured graduate cohort program.
* Exposure to public-sector finance, utilities, infrastructure, regulatory environments or asset-intensive organisations through coursework, projects or work-integrated learning
* Familiarity with financial modelling, forecasting techniques, data analytics tools or reporting systems
* Demonstrated interest in utilities, infrastructure, energy, water, or public-sector environments.

Ability to travel to regional and remote locations if required for rotations or project work. Appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of required pre-employment checks, including a National Criminal History Check and an NT Working with Children clearance.

Applicants must hold an appropriate visa with full working rights in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Remuneration

Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $75,927 – $87,716 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $88,834 - $102,627 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
