Head of Marketing ANZ

The Head of Marketing is directly responsible for leading Sephora’s marketing strategy and organization for our Sephora ANZ business, building differentiation and superiority across our purchase funnel and persuasive differentiation to deliver profitable market share growth. This includes but is not limited to our omnichannel marketing campaigns, leading deep marketing partnerships with our partner brands, guiding all event and social media strategies and instore activations. With our loyalty program, the team will also manage our membership program supporting our millions of members to improve recruitment, retention and repeat/uptiering.

Finally, the Head of Marketing will work in partnership with our regional and global marketing teams to collaborate and unlock scale while also ensuring local effectiveness, and act as a coach and lead to a team of 9 marketers.

Marketing Strategy and Execution

In partnership with regional and global marketing, build an execute an effective Sephora ANZ marketing strategy that drives profitable share growth (high quality, on time and under budget). This will include but is not limited to:

* Delivery of awareness and consideration leveraging a full year marketing calendar activated across media, owned and earned channels for Sephora.
* Execute and support brand partnerships for priority brands, working closely with the Merch team to provide marketing expertise and support
* Work closely with our Digital and Retail functional teams to ensure a strong and consistent omnichannel experience
* Deliver and support all commercial plans and promotions by ensuring on time, on-brand assets
* Disciplined budget management of marketing investments and post mortem analysis to check our performance and continue to improve and drive ROI.
* Developing product marketing strategy for Sephora Collection across all channels and touchpoints.

Integrated Marketing

Support the regional team in the development of multi-brand, omni channel campaign executions that ensure full funnel activation across the year to drive Sephora product differentiation.

* Partner closely with regional and global teams to ensure toolkits and plans are set up for strong success in Australia and New Zealand.
* Work closely with our retail and digital teams (both in the support office and in the field) to ensure aligned and high quality executions on each touch point across all stores, app and online.
* Disciplined reporting and post mortems to understand and improve execution and performance.

Brand Partner Marketing Support

* Working with regional Brand Partnership teams, develop strong plans to drive strong growth and support for our most important brand priorities and plans in the region
* Manage and lead a team of 5 marketing experts to execute dedicated bespoke executional support and service to our brand partners and merchandising teams.
* Unlock and invest coinvestment from brands to deliver high quality delivery of executed plans + committed sales.
* Integrate with functional plans and strategies of Merch, Digital, Retail and Supply to ensure the required cross functional support needed to deliver and service our brand partners.
* Produce ongoing post mortem and performance reporting back to our brand partners to ensure delivery to sales forecast and ongoing improvement of the performance of our marketing efforts.

PR & Social

* Collaborate with the regional PR & Social team to unlock high quality earned content relevant in ANZ and create opportunities for ANZ beauty influencers in regional and global opportunities.
* In partnership with other markets, orchestrate our seasonal House of Sephora biannual event to bring to life to influencers across the region our newest news, latest trends to a carefully curated selection of influencers.
* Co-build and execute owned social media content calendars across Instagram, Tiktok and Sephora’s app based Beauty Feed.
* Orchestrate sustained high volume earned coverage through close partnerships with creators on YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok inside our exclusive Sephora Squad influencer community.

Loyalty

* Ensure strong execution of the local Beauty Pass program – including the Rewards Boutique, Birthday and Welcome Tier Offers, critical member CRM journeys.
* Build awareness of the program amongst existing and soon-to-be members to drive sign up and ongoing preference for Sephora as a retailer.

Stakeholder Management

* Build consensus and collaborate effectively with the regional Sephora team, sharing insights and data that help develop the strongest possible plan for Australia and New Zealand, while also partnering to build scale.
* Demonstrate and champion the voice of the customer amongst the local ANZ Leadership team, building confidence in marketing investments, collaborating closely and supporting key functional partners in FInance, Supply, Merchandising, Retail and Digital, as well as the store managers.

We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with people leadership and full spectrum brand management background with either a beauty FMCG brand or beauty retailer, preferably.

* Strong brand management with full funnel and 360 marketing experience
* People and career management experience
* Strong and proven ability to collaborate in a complex organization, working with other functions, local/regional/global levels within Marketing and external partners/brands.
