About the Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on teaching role where you turn your supply chain know-how into life-changing learning. You will work with apprentices and trainees already employed in warehousing, transport, and logistics, guiding them through face-to-face training and assessment linked to real workplaces. From inventory control through to dispatch, receivals, workplace safety, and chain of responsibility, you help learners gain confidence in modern, responsive supply chain operations.
Some key responsibilities for this role include (not limited to):
* Deliver engaging, industry-relevant training in TLI30319 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations across inventory, dispatch, receivals, and related units
* Conduct fair, valid, and reliable assessments in line with compliance requirements, including WHS and chain of responsibility
* Build strong relationships with employers to support workplace training agreements, on-the-job learning, and continuous skills development
* Support apprenticeships and traineeships in supply chain operations, aligning training with employer needs and industry expectations
* Maintain accurate training plans, records, and documentation to meet regulatory and quality standards
* Contribute to course development, moderation, and continuous improvement using current industry trends, technologies, and practices
* Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment where diverse learners can thrive

About You:
You are an experienced logistics professional who enjoys coaching others and sharing practical insights from your own career in transport, warehousing, and distribution. You bring a student-minded approach, strong industry connections, and a passion for safe, efficient, tech-savvy supply chain operations.
Additionally, you will have:
* Formal qualification in TLI30319 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations or higher in a related discipline
* Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) and commitment to ongoing professional development
* Minimum five years recent experience in transport, logistics, warehousing, or distribution in supervisory or management roles
* Background in roles such as logistics manager, warehousing manager, or similar
* Strong understanding of WHS, chain of responsibility, and safe manual handling practices within modern supply chain environments
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with confidence in working with diverse learners and industry partners

Salary Range:
Casual Teacher L1 | $90.07 (teaching) and $61.22 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF4 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L2 | $93.61 (teaching) and $63.62 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF5 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L3 | $97.31 (teaching) and $66.10 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF6+ teaching qualification
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
