What's it all about?
Based at our workshop in Coopers Plains QLD, you will be joining our team of Workshop fitters in the testing, repair and maintenance of a range of machine tools .
This role would be suited to an experienced fitter and machinist with knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems. This is a full-time position with one of Australia's most trusted machine tool suppliers.
What will you need to do the role?
* Experience with the repair and maintenance of Machine Tools is highly desirable
* Fitter machinist/engineering trade certificate
* Excellent attendance record
* Ability to follow written instructions
* Written and verbal communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* Current motor vehicle license
* This role may involve some field service work so can you work unsupervised and are you able to problem solve?
Other skills that would be useful but not essential.
* Experience in disassembly, repair and reassembly of a gearbox.
* Restricted electrical license
* Experience in hydraulics, ability to read hydraulic drawings, fault finding and maintenance
* The ability to remove and replace hydraulic seal in cylinders.
