**Duties included in the role**:
- Minor servicing and repairing of light vehicles, as well as light commercial. vehicles
- Cleaning working areas.
- Follow safe working practices in an automotive environment.
- Use and maintain tools and equipment specific to light vehicle automotive.
- Identify automotive electrical systems and components.
- Assist and observe mechanics on a daily basis.
**About you**:
- Commitment to a 4 year apprenticeship, including practical studies at TAFE.
- Be able to work well within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Professional presentation at all times.
- Drivers license or close to obtaining.
- A passion for the automotive industry.
