We're looking for Principal Architect to join Australia Post. What you'll deliver with us
As a leader within our Technology Architecture Practice, you'll be responsible for the planning, designing, implementation and optimisation of technology solutions for our P&C and Corporate teams.
In this role you'll help shape the P&C and Corporate technology roadmap which provides a common vision of the future state architecture. This is a senior leadership position in our structure and will be reporting directly into the Head of Application and Business Architecture (Chief Architect).
You'll also
* Establish and run the Architecture team responsible for architecture and technical governance, developing architectural blueprints and high‐level design for P&C and Corporate solutions.
* Accountable for leading research and evaluation of emerging domain technologies, frameworks, and tools to identify opportunities for innovation across P&C and Corporate teams.
* Represent the P&C and Corporate needs into all group architecture functions, meetings and governance, and for providing enterprise level guidance and governance back to the team.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and business units ensuring adherence to best practices, architecture roadmap, design and implementation patterns, and architectural principles.
About you
You'll be a pragmatic leader with extensive experience operating as a principal architect or similar for a large enterprise where you have partnered closely with P&C teams to help drive complex digital transformation initiatives.
You'll also need
* Understanding of P&C environment and corporate applications (People Systems & Payroll)
* Extensive experience developing and documenting solution architecture
* Demonstrated experience in providing accurate project estimates for architectural efforts and solution components.
* Background in Enterprise Architect for Corporate is highly relevant
* Ability to develop options analysis and high‐level solutions to support the business during the ideation phase for the purpose of securing funding
* Background leading and coaching teams
* Experience in defining business capability models and technology roadmaps
* Experience providing Data & AI solutions for business units
* Knowledge of SuccessFactors, S/4HANA and SAP is advantageous
