About the role
Loyola College is seeking a passionate and qualified teacher to join our dynamic team as an Italian/French Teacher. This full-time role is based in Watsonia, VIC and will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality language education to our students.
What you'll be doing
* Designing and delivering engaging Italian and French language lessons for secondary school students
* Year 7 - 9 French & Year Italian
* Creating and implementing innovative teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement
* Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to ensure continuous improvement
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials
* Contributing to the broader life of the school community through extracurricular activities
What we're looking for
* Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
* Experience teaching Italian and French languages at the secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
* A passion for language education and a commitment to student-centred learning
