The Project Support Engineer / Officer is a position that sits within the Maintenance Delivery Team. The role is responsible for providing project support ensuring deliverables, outcomes and plans are coordinated effectively, working in consultation with the delivery team and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Position Outcomes / Accountabilities
This role has involved providing specialised project support to delivery teams, encompassing tasks such as coordinating meetings, managing project risks and issues, preparing reports and presentations, handling procurement and contracts, and establishing effective records management processes. Additionally, the role has entailed contributing to project control, monitoring, and stakeholder relationship development. The individual has also ensured compliance with financial and procurement processes while promoting safety, inclusivity, and flexibility within the team.

The ideal candidate will be able to define tasks, guide their execution, and monitor progress, and exhibit adept problem-solving skills, optimising operational efficiency and managing external engagements.

Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory
1. Proven experience in project delivery support role in a large organisation, ideally in a Government department.
2. Experience and proficient in MS Office packages, Confluence, MS Planner, MS Project, Zycus, Oracle, MS Teams, SharePoint and other project delivery related tool.
3. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
4. Proven ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced delivery environment.
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
5. Driver’s License
6. Ability and willingness to travel and work across metropolitan and regional Victoria and outside normal working hours as reasonably required.
Desirable
7. Formal qualification (or working towards) Project Management, Business Administration or similar.
