We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Sales Manager to oversee and grow relationships with key Australian ecommerce partners, including Amazon and leading independent retailers such as Centrecom, Scorptec, and Mwave. The role involves engaging with partners, driving sales, optimizing product listings, managing promotions, and ensuring smooth operations across all partner platforms. Additionally, this role manages the Australian DTC store (netgear.com.au) and the Australian distributors for the Home Networking and Mobiles business units.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Relationship Management:
o Serve as the primary contact for key ecommerce partners in Australia.
o Build and maintain relationships with partner vendor and category managers.
o Negotiate terms, promotions, and marketing opportunities to maximize sales.
2. Sales Growth & Performance Optimization:
o Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share.
o Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and take corrective actions.
o Optimize product listings for SEO, content, and imagery to improve conversions.
3. Inventory & Order Management:
o Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure stock availability.
o Monitor inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
o Resolve order fulfillment issues collaboratively with operations teams.
4. Promotions & Marketing Coordination:
o Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including discounts and marketplace deals.
o Align digital marketing efforts with marketing teams.
o Track ROI and adjust strategies accordingly.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Generate reports on sales performance, competitor activity, and marketplace trends.
o Use analytics tools like Amazon Seller Central and Google Analytics to derive insights.
o Provide data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
6. Management of Distribution:
o Coordinate with distributors to maintain stock and enhance delivery performance.
o Place orders promptly and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
7. Compliance & Operational Excellence:
o Ensure adherence to partner policies and resolve disputes or customer issues.
8. VAR Sales:
o Oversee sales for Home Networking and Mobiles.
o Identify projects and opportunities in these segments.
o Monitor competition and develop effective strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
1. 10+ years of experience in ecommerce account or marketplace management, or digital sales.
2. Knowledge of Australian ecommerce platforms such as Amazon AU, Centrecom, and Scorptec.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, and marketplace reporting tools.
4. Strong negotiation and communication skills for managing partner relationships.
5. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central and other marketplaces.
2. Knowledge of PPC advertising including Amazon Sponsored Products and Google Ads.
3. Understanding of retail and distribution models in Australia.
