Melbourne Audiology Centre (MAC) are experts in hearing care having been in operation for more than 10 years. Their hearing centres cover much of Melbourne, with 9 locations across the metropolitan area.

MAC pride themselves on providing a high-quality service, a pleasant and professional experience and the latest products (at a range of prices) in a no-pressure environment. The service they provide is important for those who need it, making a real difference in people's lives.

Their customer service team are the backbone of the centre, assisting clients across a range of questions and assisting with varying queries they may have.

Customer Service Officer (CSO)

The CSO provides excellent customer service, supports clinical staff and completes general office administration duties. At all times, CSO's represent MAC's values of clinical excellence, exceptional client experiences and teamwork.

Key aspects of the role include:

Reception duties: (eg - greeting clients, responding to enquiries and scheduling and rescheduling appointments)

Supporting the clinical team: (eg - preparing and updating client files, ordering hearing aids and ensuring the correct aids are received and prepared for clinician, ensuring clinical rooms are well stocked)

Administration tasks (eg - invoicing, ordering and receiving stock, receiving payments, making claims with third party providers, enter notes and maintain files in the office management system)

Completing Minor hearing aid repairs: (eg Basic troubleshooting – of course, training will be provided)

About you:

Ideally, you have experience in audiology and therefore bring some knowledge of processes and systems. Otherwise you bring an enjoyment and desire to learn and an ability to grasp new systems and processes;

You are organised, can prioritise and have an eye for detail;

Excellent client service is second nature for you – clients know you can and will go the extra mile for them;

Your (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills are superb, you communicate clearly and with empathy;

You are a positive and proactive team member, who can be trusted to be left to your own devices and work autonomously, but you also love a team environment and contributing to the team; and

You are comfortable around technology and have strong computer skills.
