About the Role
Treloar Child Care Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director to join our leadership team on a full-time basis.
In this role you will:
* Support the Centre Director with day-to-day operations and compliance requirements.
* Lead and mentor educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
* Support programming, documentation, and practice aligned to the National Quality Framework (NQF) and approved learning frameworks.
* Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community.
* Contribute to Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) goals and continuous improvement.
* Assist with staffing, rosters, onboarding, and performance support (as required).
* Promote a safe environment and support child-safe practices, supervision and risk management.
What We're Looking For
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) or working towards as appropriate.
* Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting.
* Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Regulations and Quality Areas.
* Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain promptly).
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach.
* Sound knowledge of child protection and reportable conduct obligations.
* Experience contributing to assessment and rating preparation and improvement planning.
* Confidence supporting families through enrolment, orientation and transitions.
* Experience with rostering and administrative systems.
* Willingness to relocate to South Hedland, WA.
