A strategically important role responsible for managing and expanding key accounts while driving new business opportunities. The Key Account Manager will play a central part in growing the
hydraulic forklift attachments
category while deepening relationships across the company's established customer base.
You'll engage closely with forklift dealers, hire companies, industrial distributors, and major end-users to identify opportunities, understand operational challenges and introduce engineered solutions that improve safety and efficiency. The role suits a technically minded, commercially driven KAM who enjoys autonomy, solution-selling and hands-on engagement with engineering and operational teams.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts across
Melbourne and the broader VIC region.
Drive new business for
hydraulic forklift attachments
, targeting warehousing, logistics, transport, industrial, manufacturing and construction environments
Strengthen relationships with dealer principals, branch managers, procurement teams, engineers, operations managers, workshop managers, warehouse leaders, HSE stakeholders and technical decision-makers
Conduct site visits to assess application requirements and recommend appropriate engineered solutions
Present technical features, safety benefits and commercial outcomes to encourage broader product adoption
Prepare accurate quotations, product recommendations and tailored solutions based on customer fleet and application requirements
Collaborate with internal engineering, production and operations teams to ensure correct configuration and seamless fulfillment
Maintain territory plans, account strategies, CRM discipline, activity reporting and forecasting
Monitor competitor offerings, emerging trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities

Candidate
Experience in key account management within materials handling, forklifts, engineered products, industrial equipment or similar B2B technical environments
Proven success in both new business development and key account expansion
Ability to engage confidently with dealer principals, procurement teams, engineers, workshop managers, operations leaders and industrial end-users
Strong technical aptitude to understand engineered products and application requirements
Commercially astute, organized and disciplined in territory and account planning
Comfortable working closely with engineering and operational teams on product specification
Professional, mature communication style aligned with an engineering-focused culture
Self-driven, proactive and capable of managing a NSW territory autonomously
