This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered cancer care in patients' homes.
The nurse will work closely with the Cancer Day Unit at Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC), providing safe, specialized oncology treatment and supportive care in a home setting.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive, patient-centered clinical assessments, delivering cancer care and symptom management in home settings, liaising with medical and allied health professionals, supporting patients and families through education and advocacy, and ensuring safe practice using technical equipment and protocols.
To be successful in this role, candidates will require a strong background in oncology nursing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and travel within the community.
* Registered Nurse (Division 1) – AHPRA registration
* Post-grad qualifications or strong experience in Oncology nursing
* Proven clinical decision making and critical thinking skills
