Immersive Technologies, the global leader in mining equipment simulation and blended learning solutions with 30 years of mining industry experience in developing customer workforces, are seeking an experienced advocate to engage, support and improve our customers workforce capability within our Australia Pacific region.
You will be part of Immersive's Professional Services network which includes more than 30 professionals globally delivering distinctive customer solutions generating real results. You will be working with a group of consultants and specialists that are solving strategic complications in the workforce development space. **The Role**:
You'll leverage your expertise to support customers and create sustainable impact. You'll do so by delivering a range of projects and initiatives across different stages of the customer workforce development cycle. You'll participate in and contribute to problem-solving sessions with our internal teams, customer representatives as well as your fellow regional consultants and specialists on a regular basis. When necessary, you will serve as the escalation point for both groups.
Reporting to the Customer Capability Manager, you'll be at the intersection of people process and technology to help our customers build successful training programs consisting of 1) Immersive Technologies world leading products 2) development and revision of their workforce development processes and 3) helping their people do more.
In this role you will nurture customer engagements and take responsibility for your customers achieving real value out of their partnership with Immersive Technologies.
Additionally, you'll help drive process improvements by ensuring best practice in project delivery. You will also be an evangelist for strong project management discipline and coaching on such things as workforce development planning, operator risk management.
**Some of the key functions**:
Working directly with customers and our OEM partners, you'll ensure the people and process elements of our customer's technology strategy (with simulation at its core) is creating measurable ROI.
- Drive engagement across our customer's organisation.
- Develop and deliver qualified services.
- Conduct coaching and mentoring to drive change to improve technology adoption and maximise the value of implemented solutions.
- Analysis of available customer data inputs (value driver trees, fleet data, machine data, organizational goals, turnover / growth and expansion rates).

**You**
- Experience within a consulting firm or a Centralised function/CI Projects role at a mining organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technology.
- Experience with providing strategic, consultative services in a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of mining operations and business models.
- Capability for working with data.
**Travel Expectations**:
This position requires travel around 40% of the time, based on business needs.
