Based in Mulgrave, Victoria, MTData operates across all states of Australia and New Zealand.
To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Test Analyst with Automation Testing experience to join a small team building our SAAS and mobile applications.
The Role:
Reporting to the QA Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Testing and QA of new software across web and mobile platforms
2. Writing and maintaining test suites including smoke test, regression tests and writing new test plans
3. Running of automation tests for Web, Services, APIs, Mobile Devices (Android and IOS) and embedded devices
4. Working closely with Business Analysts on understanding acceptance criteria
5. Working closely with developers to resolve issues
6. Providing knowledge transfer to others internally and externally
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate should possess at least the following skills/experience:
1. 3+ years working in a QA team performing software testing
2. Atlassian suite, Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
3. SQL Server database
4. Postman
5. Have a methodical approach to problem solving
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Australian permanent residency or be an Australian citizen
Preferred Skills:
The successful candidate would benefit from any knowledge or exposure to the following:
1. Automation Testing methodologies
2. C# Development skills
3. Xamarin for mobile testing Android and IOS
4. Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) using .Net SpecFlow
5. Jenkins
6. AWS
7. Python development skills
8. TypeScript / Javascript / JQuery / Angular
9. RESTful APIs
10. Telematics
11. Micro Services, Docker Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Lambda
12. CANBus
13. IoT
14. Linux OS
