Job Description
We're looking for a
Senior Tax Consultant
to join our growing Tax Services division. If you enjoy solving complex problems, building trusted relationships, and making a real impact for mid-market clients, this is the role for you.
*What you'll be doing*
* Managing client relationships and delivering high-quality tax advice
* Preparing tax effect accounting calculations, consolidated returns, fringe benefits tax returns, and private binding rulings
* Providing guidance on international tax issues (offshore expansion, CFC regimes) and assisting in M&A transactions and restructures
* Contributing to technical training within the tax division and across the firm
* Assisting with budgeting, WIP management and billing on allocated jobs
* Supervising and mentoring accountants and graduates to help them develop
* Staying engaged with the profession through involvement in relevant committees and industry bodies
Desired Skills And Experience
*What you'll bring*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or similar) and working towards/completed CA, CPA, CTA or MTax
* Strong interest in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
* Experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier tax division highly regarded.
* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* High attention to detail with a focus on quality
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Strong initiative, time management and resilience
