We're seeking a proactive Leading Hand Carpenter ready to elevate their career into a Foreman role. This position offers a unique blend of on-the-tools work and leadership development, ideal for someone eager to step into site supervision.
Your Role
As a key player on our construction sites, you'll:
* Lead and mentor trade teams, ensuring quality and efficiency.
* Coordinate subcontractors, labor, and equipment resources.
* Participate actively in carpentry tasks to maintain productivity.
* Assist with site set-out and control measures.
* Support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations and planning.
* Uphold and enforce Workplace Health & Safety standards.
* Engage in nominal contract administration duties.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial carpentry.
* QBCC License holder.
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial construction practices.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A collaborative mindset with a desire to grow into a supervisory role.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
